Welcome to Sello Real! By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

Sello Real provides remote online notarization (RON), Apostille, and Translation services. Our services are available to users located within the United States or internationally where RON is legally recognized.

2. Services Provided

We specialize in Remote Online Notarization (RON), Apostille, and Translation services. Our notaries are committed to providing accurate and professional notarizations. Services are offered online, and you can complete notarizations from the comfort of your own home or office.

3. User Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.

  • You have a valid government-issued ID.

  • You have access to stable internet and appropriate technology for online notarizations.

  • You are located within the U.S. or internationally where RON is legally recognized.

4. Payment & Fees

  • RON services start at $25.

  • Apostille services start at $150.

  • Translation services start at $25.

  • We require a non-refundable booking fee of $5 for RON services and $50 for Apostille services, which will be applied to the total cost of the service.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

  • Rescheduling: Please notify us 24 hours in advance via text at (312) 725-0119 to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • Same-day cancellations may incur a 50% cancellation fee of the service cost.

  • Refunds: Once notarization or services are completed, service fees are non-refundable. If an appointment is canceled with proper notice, any prepaid fees will be refunded within 5 business days.

5. User Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all documents are complete and ready for notarization before the session.

  • Provide accurate information and valid identification.

  • Ensure a stable internet connection for Remote Online Notarization (RON).

  • Understand that Sello Real is not responsible for how notarized documents are used after completion.

6. Platform & Technology Use

We use Cyberize It and BlueNotary as our CRM platforms for online notarizations. By using our services, you agree to:

  • Follow all platform guidelines when using these services.

  • Understand that Sello Real is not responsible for any technical issues, outages, or security measures of third-party platforms.

  • Ensure that your device meets the platform requirements for RON sessions.

7. Legal Compliance & Notary Limitations

  • Not a Law Firm: Sello Real notaries are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice, draft documents, or interpret the legal implications of documents.

  • Compliance with Illinois Law: All notarizations comply with Illinois state laws and applicable RON regulations.

  • User Responsibility: Clients are responsible for ensuring their documents meet the legal requirements of their intended jurisdiction.

  • Notarization vs. Legal Validity: A notarization only verifies the identity and willingness to sign and does not guarantee the document’s legal enforceability.

8. Dispute Resolution

  • Mediation: Parties must attempt mediation for at least 30 days before initiating arbitration.

  • Arbitration: Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, not court litigation.

  • Time Limit for Claims: Users must bring any claims within 1 year from the date the incident occurred.

  • Jurisdiction: These terms and any disputes shall be governed by Illinois law.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Liability Cap: Sello Real’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the user for the service in the one month prior to the claim.

  • No Indirect Damages: Sello Real is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, document rejections, or legal disputes).

  • Third-Party Responsibility: Sello Real is not responsible for any technical issues, outages, or security breaches related to third-party platforms, including Cyberize It and BlueNotary.

10. Privacy & Data Security

  • Privacy Commitment: We take your privacy and data security seriously and comply with all applicable laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA (if applicable).

  • Data Usage: We use your personal information exclusively for notarial services and will not share it with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

  • Security Measures: We employ industry-standard security protocols to protect your personal information during online notarization sessions and document processing.

11. Termination of Services

  • Sello Real’s Right to Terminate: Sello Real reserves the right to suspend or terminate services at any time if a user violates these Terms and Conditions.

  • User’s Right to Terminate: Users may terminate their use of our services at any time. However, this does not affect any obligations or fees already incurred, and prepaid fees will not be refunded once services are completed or appointments are missed without proper notice.

12. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between Sello Real and the user, superseding all prior agreements or understandings.

  • Severability: If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms will remain in full force and effect.

  • Amendments: Sello Real reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
